STOP COMING TO MY PAGE AND LEAVING ME "THANK YOU"s!

No thank you's are necessary if I fav your peice, as it's nothing personal. It doesn't mean I like you. I am not doing you a favor, that's just how much I liked the peice.

And thanking me for visiting your page? This is dumb. Did I fav any of your work? Did I watch you? Did I even leave a comment? No, huh? So what makes you think I even liked your work? Perhaps I thought it was crap. You just thanked me for hating your work, you weirdo.

I look at these thank you notes like graffiti on my page. I want to clean it off, but it's permanent paint (as DeviantArt doesn't allow you to delete comments). I find this very upsetting. SO PLEASE STOP DOING IT!!!

I appreciate that you are grateful that I showed an interest in your work, but no thank yous are necessary. It is nothing personal towards you as a person. And to put it blatently, I find it rude that you are so grateful you must come to my page to thank me, but can't even take a few minutes to look through my work and make some kind of constructive comment about it.

I would delete every thank you that people leave me, if only DeviantArt allowed you to delete comments. Every time I see my page with nothing but "thank you"s it makes me feel bad all over again that no one bothers to look at my artwork and leave comments about it.

I have a journal entry on my page expressing this viewpoint, but clearly that was not enough. So from now on, everyone who is thougtless enough to ignore it and leave me a thank you anyway is getting this message.
